Excursions | Kefalonia Island Tour

At 8:00 a.m. We pick you up from your accommodation and take you to the port of Agios Nikolaos at Cape Skinari, northeast of the island about 1 hour from where the ferry departs for Kefalonia around 09:30 in the morning. After an hour and a half of sailing we reach the port of Pessada and from there we will head to one of the most picturesque villages of the island, the Assos village. The stop there lasts half an hour. After a short distance we will stop at the most famous beach of the island, Myrtos Beach, for photos.

The next village we will visit is Agia Efimia located on the east side of the island, opposite Ithaca and we will stay there for about 1 hour. The stop includes lunch in a picturesque tavern by the sea or coffee and ice cream depending on the mood you have at the time.
Our next stop will be the famous lake of Melissani. The entrance of the lake is through an underground passage and you are transported to the cave by boat. The sunlight that enters from the gap at the top of the cave makes the colors of the water truly unique. The stop at the lake takes about 40 minutes to an hour.
Last stop is the famous cave of Drogarati. It is an impressive creation of nature, since its stalagmites and stalactites are really reminiscent of a work of art. A downhill road leads to a large hall, while the lighting creates a great atmosphere.
If after this visit we have time we can go through the center of Argostoli before we return to the port of Pessada for a coffee. The departure of the ship is around 18.00.
